Can Trump Keep the Deficit Away from the Trillion Dollar Mark?

The national debt is raising a lot of eyebrows as the election of 2020 looms just the horizon. President Trump continues to make changes that have only helped America. He has fought the dumb Democrats as they persist to tear him down before the elections next year. But now people are crying over the amount of the federal deficit. It is coming in at a staggering $984.4 billion. This may seem like a lot of money, but it is not. In 2018, the gross domestic product for the country was $20.4 trillion.

Every business owner knows that to bring move in there must be money spent. The President is aware of this principle. So, when it seems like a lot of money has been spending, one only needs to look for the return on that investment in years to come. With a favorable tax rate, there are more companies hiring people and increasing productivity which will result in more taxable income. But sadly, the negative media and the loony Democrats all want the public to focus on one number and that is the 2019 deficit number.

There will be a deficit when taxes are cut, there is no debate over that. But what people need to see is the benefit of lower taxes. This means more money for people to live on and to open up new possibilities of growth for their companies. Over time these companies are going to produce more workers and the tax money will only increase for the government to have for their use. Skeptics are pointing out that the $1 trillion deficit mark could be a reality for decades to come. But that is only speculation.

The deficit has been rising long before President Trump ever took office. He has to spend money to fix the crazy mess that his predecessors left him when he sat down in the office back in 2017. He has had to fix the border, deal with international terrorists, fight the dumb Democrats and so many things that just cost money. If the dumb Democrats are so scared of the deficit, then it is time to start cutting socialist handouts. No more free money for people that do not want to work. No more food stamps or any other federal aid for the population. This would cut the deficit back to a surplus overnight.

President Trump is being blamed for an increase in spending that the Democrats came up with. He had to make concessions with them just to get them to the table to talk money. The Democrats refused to work with the president if they did not get what they wanted. They acted like a bunch of spoiled brats that throw a fit when they don’t get a toy at the store. The trillion-dollar deficit is something that came from the Obama era. He spent so much money and approved so many worthless programs that it strained the federal budget for over eight years. And now President Trump is having to work through Obama’s mess trying to fix it all.

There is no reason to worry about such a large number. It is but a small fraction of what the country does financially every year. The economy surges forward, and interest rates continue to stay low. These things alone are good indicators that things are going to start fixing the financial hardships that so many people live with every day. But only if President Trump wins in 2020. A Democrat will destroy the growth that so many have come to love by undoing everything that President Trump has fixed in the past three years.

There is not much being said about the deficit because it is not a big deal. Too many people in the media and the loony liberal camp want to make a big deal about it. They want something else to complain about. The economy of the United States continues to grow at an alarming rate and there is nothing in sight that is said to make it slow down.

  1. I am a trump supporter but also concerned about the deficit . First, Republicans/Tea Party are supposed to be fiscally responsible – which the Democrats are not. We are hypocrites if we don’t reduce deficit. The government is way too big and there is so much waste in govt. spending. Reduce deficit by cutting government: jobs corp., and all job training efforts in govt. (the govt does not know what to train workers for! ), money to sanctuary cities, military – no more than they ask for – recently we paid $10 billion more than they asked for – Medicare – form task force to root out multiples of $100 billion in fraud, cut Depts. of Education, Energy and Commerce by 80%, cut any expenses it is not worth borrowing from China for.

    1. For your information, the government owes more money to social security than to China and that money me and my employer deposited do we are entitled to it.

  2. Agreed that the deficit should be cut. Also a Trump supporter, but not happy with the deficit. One problem is that Democrats fight sensible spending decreases. Government agencies that have outlived their usefulness can be cut. Ineffective spending should be cut. Simply a right to work law, would increase economic activity, opportunity and tax revenues, but that is difficult for people to see, and the Democrats will fight that as most believe it is necessary to stay in power. a very simple concept is while a person should have the right to join a labor union, they should have the right not to join one. States with recent Right to Work Laws have realized economic expansion that is extensive – increases in jobs, increased tax revenues, increased after tax income and vaporizing deficits. Government sponsored unions don ‘t want people to know about this and will fight it tooth and nail.

  3. A federal sales tax of one quarter penny per $100 for every sale made, including the stock market , sent straight to the deficit would clear it up in a short time. Those who spent more would then pay more making it fair across economic levels.

  4. The American people need to know just how big 1 Trillion is. To make it easy just think, 1 Trillion seconds turned into time is 32,000 years. I think that is a good way the realize how big 52 Trillion really is. Toooooo BIG.

to 15 minutes are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Kudos!
