The coronavirus is such a serious issue that one man is now facing terrorist charges for coughing on an employee of a grocery chain in New Jersey. The shopper deliberately coughed on the worker who has now tested positive for the virus. George Falcone is the man that laughed at the worker as he coughed all over her. The virus is taking the lives of people and it is not something that needs to be laughed at.
Once the police arrived George Falcone refused to identify who he was. Falcone is being charged with harassment, obstruction and terrorist threats. The very idea of a person coughing on another and laughing about it is foolishness. Those that are taking the pandemic lightly are going to be the ones that make life miserable for everyone else. Falcone knew he had the virus and was out spreading it around like it was a common cold virus.
The Wegmans employee now has to wonder what her life will be life as the virus runs its course. Phil Murphy, who is the governor of New Jersey, stated “There are knuckleheads out there. We see them and we are enforcing behavior.” Faulty Falcone had no business coughing on the employee. He was knowingly spreading a deadly virus to other people. The woman he coughed on asked him to stand back from open food that she was working on. She was rightly concerned about her health.
Falcone walked into the grocery chain doing his normal shopping. But he was making it a point to ignore social distancing. The woman asked him to step back and that is when he became upset about her request. It was at that time that he attacks her with his mouth and spread the virus on purpose to her. It might have well been a physical assault given the nature of Falcone. He does not have any concern about the wellbeing of other people.
It was reported that Falcone moved forward and coughed in her face. He then laughed at her and gloated that he gave her the virus. He also reported that they were all lucky to have their jobs. The police were called shortly after the altercation. Falcone refused to cooperate with the police for at least 40 minutes. He is just a man that hates life.
The New Jersey Attorney General is Gurbir Grewal stated that “These are extremely difficult times in which all of us are called upon to be considerate of each other— not to engage in intimidation and spread fear, as alleged in this case.” Falcone certainly instilled the fear in the woman that he infected.
Grewal went on to say that “We must do everything we can to deter this type of conduct and any similar conduct that harms others during this emergency. Just as we are cracking down on bias offenses and those who use the pandemic to fuel hatred and prejudice, we vow to respond swiftly and strongly whenever someone commits a criminal offense that uses the coronavirus to generate panic or discord.”
This kind of behavior is anti-American and should not be happening. Falcone has a distaste for people that correct him or point out his errors. He obviously would not have reacted well if someone were to have the same kind of actions towards him. Grewal also warned people that bad behavior in any form will not be tolerated. There is no reason for people to be acting idiots during this time. Falcone will soon face the consequences of his actions as he could spend seven years in prison and thousands of dollars in fines.
President Trump has things under control in the country. The divisive Democrats need to work with him to see things return to normal soon. The American people are ready to move forward once again. They are ready for the economy to start growing. People are ready to get back to work. But the overall theme and feeling are for it to be done safely. Falcone’s actions are an example of selfish people. They have no business being in public when they act like spoiled brats.
