Papadopoulos Enters Race to Replace Disgraced Democrat

George Papadopoulos, the former Trump campaign adviser, has seen an opening and is running for it. There’s a new spot open in Congress with Katie Hill, the Democratic Representative from California, deciding to resign amid a sex scandal. The Republican has decided that he’s ready to make his way into a more political role.

The paperwork was filed on Tuesday for him to run within the 25th district of California. However, he’s not the only one. There are six other Republicans and one other Democrat who is hot to fill the seat.

Although the paperwork has been filed, Papadopoulos has not issued any kind of public statement to announce his Congressional bid. However, many people knew that it was coming because of his teasing on Twitter. He also knew that it was going to be quite the fight for the empty seat, with a comment that he was “smelling blood in the water.”

He announced that someone has to step up. He loves his state of California too much to “see it run down by candidates like Hill.” Hill felt as though she had no choice but to step down after the House Committee on Ethics announced that they were opening an investigation to look into the sexual allegations of having an improper relationship with one of her Congressional staffers. This would have violated House rules. She was also going through a divorce which led to nude photos of her being leaked online.

The FEC filing identifies as the official website for the campaign. The site clearly looks as though it is still being built, however, the main note says that the goal is to put the 25th district of California “back in Republican hands.” There is also an invitation to join his campaign in order to fight against Democratic corruption.

Many people are surprised to see Papadopoulos running it considering just two years ago, he pleaded guilty regarding lies to the FBI after he had discussed interactions with foreign officials close to the Russian government. He had Kremlin-linked contacts who told him in 2016 about Hillary Clinton and the dirt that the Russians had on her in the form of “thousands of emails.”

While prosecutors sought a six-month term for Papadopoulos, the federal judge ultimately sentenced him to 14 days in prison as a result of lying to the FBI. Papadopoulos cooperated with the investigation fully and requested leniency from the judge. He was released in December 2018.

This isn’t the first time Papadopoulos had talked about running for Congress, though it is the first time that he actually made the FEC filing. In 2018, he tweeted that he planned to run for Congress in 2020 and that he will win.

There’s a majority of Democrats not only in the House but also in California. With Katie Hill out of the picture, it leaves some room in order to turn the tables a little bit. If Papadopoulos were to win, it wouldn’t be enough to gain a majority in the House but it would be enough to create some additional hesitation in the House that, perhaps, they don’t have the ability to maintain the majority in 2020 as they assume.

With so many issues happening across California, with such things as taxes on the rise, sanctuary cities protecting illegal immigrants, and blackouts around the state as a result of power companies protecting against wildfires, it’s safe to say that the state is a mess. The only ones to blame for the mess are the Democrats as they have been running rampant through the state government for entirely too long. Not only Dems but the leftist-leaning progressives that have ever threatened to exist. This is causing quite a few California residents to hesitate when they color in the bubble that they vote Democrat instead of Republican.

While Papadopoulos seems like a longshot to get the 25th District seat, there are six other GOP candidates who are also filling out the FEC paperwork. Someone needs to get the job done so that they can prove to California that voting Democrat is not the way to live a quality life. Most residents are unhappy with the state for one reason or another – so the only logical step would be to make the switch to the GOP.

Katie Hill sleeping with one of her congressional staffers may have been one of the best things for California. Now, they can get a Republican into the seat who will actually know how to deal with the cesspool that takes up most of the West Coast.

  1. You go for this and Win George! This is revenge at its best! I like your ability to stay focused and sure of yourself.

    1. I live in Illinois, I’m not a Democrat, or an illegal alien. If I were a Democrat, or any illegal alien from Illinois, I would probably be allowed to vote in California. Mark, since George is running as a Republican, my ballot would end up in a shredder anyway.

  2. We the American people sport George Papadopoulos 100%

Too much criminal corruption in CA and the Radical Socialist DemoRATS, ALL NEED TO BE THROWN.
Kate Hill is another DemoRAT SOCIALIST AND A disgusting and a disgrace to America and the Entire World.

  3. Go for it, George! After what you’ve been put through, none of the inferences having a shred of truth, go for that congressional seat and
support the Constitution. God bless you.

  4. “Many people are surprised to see Papadopoulos running it considering just two years ago, he pleaded guilty regarding lies to the FBI. . . .”
Note that this “conservative” website/newsletter (which I suspect everyone reading this started receiving unsolicited) runs this story containing some quasi-conservative commentary — but featuring a mocking caricature that belittles Papadopoulos and injects this line about his guilty plea — completely ignoring the fact that it has been well documented that the guilty plea was the result of bullying entrapment tactics of the Mueller coup operatives, who were furious that he did not fall into their money entrapment set-up.
Take note that the first indicator of a fake “conservative” news website is the posting of articles like this with little or no attribution of authorship — this article only indicates the author as “editor” with absolutely no further information allowing anyone to trace back to find out who — or what — “editor” is or to determine any credibility based on authorship for the validity of contents.
The second indicator of a fake “conservative” news website is that the site itself tells you nothing about who is behind it — no names of leadership, editorship, or organizational structure behind the website.
One of the key strategies of FusionGPS-esque political opposition firms is the creation of multiple fake “conservative” platforms with enough legitimate news of conservative interest to draw the attention of genuine conservative-value patriots for the sole purpose of then inserting disinformation to ultimately bring about confusion, distraction, disappointment, division, and disillusionment within the conservative camp — thus weakening opposition to the ultimate Deep State agenda. At the same time, they are able to hyper-monetize their agenda by attracting a conservative audience to generate massive per-click advertising revenues which are then channeled into promoting their luciferian globalist cause — exactly like this website.

    1. I never considered this to be anything but a conservative web cite, but I, too, was taken by the wording of the article, as though not everyone in the world knew the truth about George Papadopoulos. Everyone up to date on the story knows that George was set up, surrounded by spies from several countries, one spy telling him a lie and the next one attempting to get him to repeat it. They even had female spies, who pretended to be interested in him personally, in hopes of getting him to say he he had Russian information about Hillary’s missing emails. None of this crap worked, so they gave him a dose of the house special-lying to the investigators. What you say makes a lot of sense though.

  5. Papadopoulos is the right person to replace the slot katie Hill in Congress. We must support this gentleman
who was vindicated after the DemonRATS almost had him put in prison, for something he did not do. Damn RATS.

  7. Hopefully he can win, Ca. has gone so far to the right that it will take more than just one to get things better, but one is a start. It will take Republicans getting out to vote and some who have voted dem in past to look at how bad things have gotten and to step up and vote for change back to reality, not the total opposite of now but common sense answers for all not stricly for just one point of view. No matter which they run from they are supposed to work for the people not the party or anything anti the other side as we have in congress now.
If Dems continue on their course they are laying the ground work for destruction of our political system, once they do these things the other side can and will do the same. No matter who is elected president each time there will be an open investigation into everything about the persons life, family everything. I believe the dems are out to destroy the system, they want this country to be one party and they will control the puppet strings a party dictatorship very similar to Russia

  8. Go ahead and RUN George! . . . You’ll LOSE like the REST of them. You’ve got NOTHING to run on, like the REST of the LOSER Democrats. You’ll be SWEPT AWAY in the Political Dumpster like the REST of them! Team Trump and his allies 2020 – KAGA (Keep America Great Again).

  9. I used to be a democrat….NOT ANYMORE!! I live in Ca and know first hand what these crazy left leaning, in the pockets of deep state politicians are doing to this state. IT IS A DEEP STATE STRONGHOLD….we all know that! Enough!….CALIFORNIA HAS HAD ENOUGH OF THESE CORRUPT POLITICIANS RUNNING IT!! PELOSI, FEINSTEIN, WATERS, EVEN THE GOV IS A PUPPET…THE FAKE NEWS IS REAL PEOPLE!
