Bud Light to Join Dylan Mulvaney Again?

It’s hard to imagine disgraced Bud Light joining up with anyone like transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney any time soon. But that hasn’t stopped Mulvaney from hoping they change their minds in the future.
According to a recent Mulvaney interview by The Cut, Dylan hopes that “Maybe it’s epic… if in like 10 years I got to do a beer commercial for a Super Bowl.”
Umm, I’m not so sure about that.
As you likely know all about, Mulvaney was contracted by the once most popular beer brand in America for an advertising gig in April. On the 365th day of Mulvaney being a “woman,” Bud Light put his face on their beer cans.
Undoubtedly, the brand was trying to expand its customer base and seem more “inclusive” and “woke.” However, as you can imagine, the move did not go over well with most of Bud Light’s customer base.
Immediately, Americans everywhere boycott the brand and its parent company, Anheuser-Busch.
In a matter of months, Bud Light went from being America’s most-sold beer to having the Mexican lager Modelo take that coveted title.
Additionally, Bud Light lost nearly $37 billion in market value.
Stocks that sat comfortably at around $66 per share in April dropped to $53.40 by June. As of Wednesday, those shares had only slightly recovered, coming in at $56.29, still a whole ten dollars less than what they once were.
Naturally, Mulvaney blames the whole boycott and upheaval of Bud Light on “transphobia,” claiming that the world is just a “f***ed up” place. And to be sure, it is, but not for the reasons he thinks it is.
Thankfully, as the boycott proves, there are still those who are willing to stand up for what is right and against the things that are destroying our society.
As for a future project between Mulvaney and Bud Light, or any other beer brand… I don’t see it happening anytime soon.
