There is no love lost between Trump and Pelosi. This has been the bitter rival in the White House since Pelosi became Speaker of the House. President Trump is starting to get angry and rightfully so! The Speaker of the House has spent all of her time working to have the President removed from office, and she is still trying to find ways to do so. With the coronavirus still spreading across the world, Pelosi is using this as the Democrats’ next “big thing” to set up President Trump for a downfall.
Pelosi is calling President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus “inadequate.” President Trump is calling it as it is. Pelosi and the Democrats are trying to create a panic attack across the nation. Trump rebuttal by calling her “incompetent.”
President Trump named Vice President Mike Pence the head of Washington’s response to the coronavirus outbreak. Trump stated, “She’s trying to create a panic, and there is no reason to panic. All they are trying to is get a political advantage, but this shouldn’t be a political thing.”
There are over 81,000 people currently who have contracted the deadly virus around the world, and most of them are in China. America only has a small portion of that 81,000.
President Trump has already set up a task force team to combat the highly contagious virus, and the people who are working to stop the spread in the US are doing their jobs and doing it well. America has some of the lowest numbers, considering the other countries across the world. China has the most.
President Trump informed the American people in a special press conference Wednesday evening he would call for $2.5 billion to ward off the virus. Pelosi scoffed and criticized the President again by saying, “It was long overdue and completely inadequate to the scale of this emergency. The House will advance a strong, strategic funding package that fully addresses the scale and seriousness of this public health crisis.”
Since the announcement was made that the coronavirus was spreading across China and the world, Trump has received multiple criticisms from the Democrats with Pelosi and Schumer fueling the fire. Health care professionals who support the Democrats also are bad-mouthing the President.
Where senior lawmakers called for a spending bill that could be agreed upon on Capitol Hill, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer pulled out a plan for $8.5 billion. This plan triples what President Trump called for and is only adding to the fear in everyone’s minds to hear such a substantial bid.
President Trump is furious because the stock market is falling, and fear is spread for something that is already being taken care of. They are trying to make it seem like he is not doing his job. By the Democrats doing this, it is taking its toll on the economy, which Trump built to its highest in over 50 years.
It seems the fear the Democrats are trying to spread would only come out of a horror movie, but these are the same Democrats who are working off of lies and terror.
To break down the $8.5 billion Schumer proposes, $4.5 billion will go to the Department of Health and Human Services to stop the outbreak. $1 billion will go to come up with a vaccine, $1 billion will go to other countries to help them stop the spreading, and $2 billion will reimburse the states for their contributions.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) put out a warning at the beginning of the week for preparations to be made for an outbreak in America. People who came from China back to America are the only cases where the coronavirus has spread, and steps were taken to prevent further spreading.
The one thing all Americans need to remember is it doesn’t matter what President Trump does, how much or how little, the Democrats will find a way to undermind his authority, and great leadership.
In the special press conference Wednesday evening, the President assured everyone, “Because of all we’ve done, the risk to the American people remains very low.” He added, “We’re ready to adapt, and we’re ready to do whatever we have to.”
As of Tuesday, the latest recorded, there are only 53 cases of coronavirus in the US. There are several thousand people who have died from the regular influenza virus. Which one should Americans be more concerned about contracting? The Democrats are full of it!
